Who runs this site
WineFridgeFit is an independent site run by Joseph. We don't sell fridges, and no maker or store pays to be listed or to be called a fit.
The site exists because the numbers you need to replace a built-in wine fridge are hard to find in one place. Store listings show the size of the box, but the space a fridge needs, the depth with the handle, and whether it's safe inside a cabinet are usually buried in each maker's install guide. We pull those numbers out, model by model, and put them side by side.
Where the sizes come from
Every size on this site comes from the maker's own spec sheet, install guide, owner's manual or product page: 442 models from 37 brands so far. Each fridge page links to the document and says when we checked it. We don't use store listings for sizes, and we don't test or measure fridges ourselves.
Our rules for every number
- Maker's documents only. If the maker's own site blocks access, we may read the maker's document from a copy on a store's website, and the fridge page says so.
- No guessing. We never calculate a size, and we never add handle depth ourselves. If a maker leaves a size out, the page says "not listed."
- Conflicts get flagged. When a maker's own documents disagree, we leave the number out and mark the fridge "not sure" instead of picking one.
- Spot checks. A sample of models is re-read from the source documents by a second, independent pass. The last check, in November 2026, matched every number checked.
- Dated prices. Prices show the date we checked them, and they change.
What "fits" means
We only say a fridge fits when the maker says it can go under a counter, it lets heat out the front, the maker lists the full space it needs and the gaps to leave, and your space is at least that big. Fridges made to stand on their own are never shown as fitting a cabinet.
How we make money
Some links on this site may earn us a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change whether a fridge fits or how it's ranked.
